I’ve finally gotten around to a comprehensive website rebuild.

I’d had a WordPress blog for a couple of years – which mainly served as a place to show off higher resolution copies of my work.  Facebook compression really is the bane of the astrophotographer – but Facebook is where most people see my images so I was always really keen to try and drive them to somewhere where they could zoom in, scroll around and really take in the finer details of my captures.

Everything here is self hosted, and my web design skills are very limited so I’m relying on WordPress and a couple of plugins doing the heavy lifting for me. I also managed to corrupt the backup of the old site – so I’m having to manually post everything from scratch – because I really want to preserve my “astrophotography journey” so you can see improvements as you go back through the posts as I gain new skills and new equipment.

Winter is just around the corner in my part of the world, and with that cold dark skies – so hopefully some more pretty space pictures aren’t too far away!
